I get told I’m too hard on myself a lot

Self-denigrating humor is an evil habit to fall into. Basically I insult myself before anyone else can, when I really think about it. But it’s a defense mechanism I built up early, and none has been harder to shake.

I recommend developing a brash, aloof, arrogant, hyper-confident Internet persona.

At least… that’s how I deal with my own crippling insecurities. >_>
