randomredux replied to your post: As if this is even a question.
Have they ever SEEN the internet, and how many content creators are doing it for the joy of just creating? There’d be music, films, books, radio… it just wouldn’t be the industry/commercial stuff!
Sssh. Don’t tell the culture industry moguls they don’t actually have a stranglehold on all creative output. You’ll hurt their widdle feefees.
That being said, it’s not really about everyone doing it “for the joy of it”; there’s nothing inherently wrong with an artist getting remuneration for their creative efforts. It’s when all the dour suits in the middle start thinking the profits are more important than the product that we start getting a problem…

THAT’S A PRETTY AWESOME SHIRT YOU HAVE THERE.
As well as the Doctors tee pictured I also have the Arrow in the Knee and DA Cast shirts!
negacrow replied to your link: No. Really?
There’s a number of men in the entertainment industry that really don’t deserve all the adoration they get. Michael Fassbender, for instance, is a royal douche who broke his ex’s nose, yet the fangirls swooning over him tend to forget that part.
Johnny Depp is the other one who comes to mind (for his support of Roman Polanski).
Being pretty causes a lot of amnesia, it seems. (Or, in Moffat’s case… not being RTD? IDK ‘bout that one so much.)

“Pajamas”. Blegh.
You could always start a One Woman Revolution to bring back the old spelling!
(Also: Testing crossposting of Tumblr replies. Hopefully this should go back to alis.me and then subsequently not back here again… But we’ll see how good I am at setting up ifttt rules.)
nounbeast replied to your link: Nearly 4pm, still in pyjamas.
I wish we american’ts spelled it “pyjamas”. The letter “y” always makes it so much more interesting and less “laying in bed like a lazy fuck”. I should talk though, I lay in bed ‘till noon on weekends.
… wait. How do you spell “pyjamas” if not with a “y”?
Pajamas? Pijamas? Pejamas? I’m confused.
Is this like that thing where we still use the word “fortnight” here and people from the US/Canada are all like, “Lawlz bro y u use teh olde timey English?”
